A harrowing sonic landscape of the anti-partisan campaigns in Eastern Europe, these tracks highlight how the oppressed managed to fight against the Nazi invaders. Bandits to some, but true freedom fighters for their peoples, the title Bandenbekämpfung plays on the asymmetric relationship between the two combatants, wherein the partisan fights under a severe handicap over the fascist war machine.
